Our Sporting World is a sports discovery and enquiry marketplace operated by The Insights Loop Limited, the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number ZB846391. Registered office: 25 Cae Garw, Llantwit Fardre, Pontypridd, CF38 2TQ.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email, optional phone number and organisation, and the details of your request. When you post an opportunity we collect the organisation's details and a private contact email.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry, to share it with the relevant provider once our team has reviewed it, and to keep records of bookings and commission. We do not sell your data.
Lawful basis
Your consent (given when you submit a form) and our legitimate interest in operating the marketplace. [Confirm with legal adviser.]
Retention
Personal details on enquiries are automatically anonymised 24 months after the last activity. Booking and commission totals are kept for accounting. You can ask us to anonymise your details sooner.
Children
We never create public profiles for individual children. Please do not include children's names or personal details in opportunity posts.
Your rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of your data by contacting info@oursportingworld.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
